Michael Giardina

Overview
As a founding partner of Godbey Giardina Law Group, Michael is an advocate for insurance policyholders in disputes with their insurance company. Michael was born and raised in New Orleans, is an Eagle Scout and avid outdoorsman. During Hurricane Katrina, Michael assisted with search and rescue operations. Hurricane Katrina was also Michael’s first experience with an insurance company who produced fraudulent documents, underpaid, and delayed his family’s claim. Although not an attorney at the time, Michael experienced how beneficial an attorney was in recovering under the claim.

Experience

Michael has an extensive background in fraud investigations, law enforcement, disaster relief, search and rescue and was an arbitrator. During his law enforcement career, Michael earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Loyola University of New Orleans and attended Loyola College of Law at New Orleans where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review. These experiences created Michael’s passion to help policyholders recover from a disaster. Like his law enforcement days, Michael continues to serve those in their time of need.
